While I admit that GRRM is extremely talented, writes a great series, I am disappointed that the infamous saga has taken so long to come to fruition. It must not be easy to have so many projests to write for. However, I am extremely let down by the fact that my excitement over the new novel (3 years in the making) has been dampened by the quotation that those of us who have been on the edge of out seats to see what happens with the Starks, Snows, etc. are the minority of his readership.

I hope that those of you in the majority are content that Mr. Martin considers you more important than those who have read the series he is in negotiation for w/ HBO for 7 seasons of Saga of Fire and Ice.

Yes, I am snippy and fussy. I have been a loyal reader prior to reading this article, now I feel as if he couldn't give a second thought to the readers of this series who have bought the books, read them numerous times, bought the audio books, etc. It makes me sad.

He was very sick over Christmas. Would that he had died so a Ghostwriter could be hired to finish the series.
