Prayer is the Master-Key that unlocks the Kingdom of Heaven.
Prayer can be defined as an anguished cry of the soul in distress or helplessness, to a Power fuller and greater than itself, for relief and comfort. It is, in the generic and commonly accepted sense, An invocation to God or Godman (a living Master),competent enough to grant solace and peace to a mind tortured by the problems of life and life's surroundings.
Prayer is the soul's sincere desire, Uttered or unexpressed;
The motion of a hidden fire That trembles in the breast.
One must pray to the Lord God alone who is Omnipotent and competent to grant all wishes. There is nothing which God cannot grant.
We have to do honest self-practice to see how far we have come on the inner path and have gained dominance over mind and senses. We can use the mystical experiences of past Masters and the teaching of their practical lives to see if we have really uplifted ourselves to these extraordinary heights. If this is not so, we can come humbly near to one who has done so and accept his help. One must understand that you cannot hide any thing from him(god) so instead of not telling him what you are doing and later repent on that, I would say GOD knows every thing that we do so we can actually share things with him so that as he been good father he can forgive on our mistake.
