Stage 1
Allah has made everyone according to His Religion, ISLAM.
30:30 So set thy face to the service of religion with single-minded devotion. And follow the nature made by ALLAH, the nature according to which HE has fashioned mankind. There is no altering the creation of ALLAH. That is the right religion - but most men know not -
Sooner or later, we all are 'called' towards Him, whereever we belong...
That's the only reason Budha left his palace...or Nanak refused to perform the rituals of Hinduism...
This is pity that people 'start' a religion and forget the 'teachings'....or start worshipping the 'person' or his 'idol'
Everyone who seeks ONE GOD,becomes a MUSLIM.
Stage 2
Allah guides him through His Messengers, His authentic personnel....He has been doing it.
16:36 And WE did raise among every people a Messenger with the teaching, `Worship ALLAH and shun the Evil one.' Then among them were some whom ALLAH guided and among them were some who became deserving of ruin. So travel through the earth and see what was the end of those who treated the prophets as liars !
Allah wants His LAW to be ESTABLISHED through His Messengers.He doesn't want people to become 'wanderer' in search of Rights and Wrongs.
People whose hearts are inclind to ONE GOD..ALWAYS ACCEPT the Message of Allah...THE TRUTH OF TIME...
Stage 3
They strive in the WAY OF ALLAH to become CLOSER.It's Direct-Dialing....
[2:177] It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards the East and the West, but righteousness is this that one should believe in Allah and the last day and the angels and the Book and the prophets, and give away wealth out of love for Him to the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and the beggars and for (the emancipation of) the captives, and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate; and the performers of their promise when they make a promise, and the patient in distress and affliction and in time of conflicts -- these are they who are {rue (to themselves) and these are they who guard (against evil).

He is our Lord, and loves us MORE than a parent can love a child...Still..
4:48 Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with Him, and forgives what is besides that to whomsoever He pleases; and whoever associates anything with Allah, he devises indeed a great sin.
