Hello, im new to this forum and had a question about my new marlin 60. I purchased it in a package deal along with a winchester 290 deluxe and know very little about the Marlin 60 rifle. It has the 22 inch barrel and 15 round tube and the serial number starts with a 02. I am trying to figure out when it was made and why it has a gold plated trigger. I am having a hard time finding information about marlin 60's with gold triggers. I know because the size of the barrel it was pre 2000's according to the info on this webpage but the gold trigger is interesting.
