After her parents return to earth,Dales own childhood mentor,Gwildor the dwarf,helped to raise marlena on Flash Gordon's childhood farm in Ireland. marlenas mother Dale was the sister of John Glenn the astronaut by adoption. The Glenn family in cambridge Ohio welcomed dale when she was young to live there and she got her middle name to be Glenn. marlena has used that name too but is really Glenn Gordon,but she doesnt use the Gordon name after she was upset her father didnt spend miore time with her as a child. Gwildor and Dale helped to raise her while he was out in space on more adventures. Marlena moved from ireland at Gordon farm back to USA to Arizona to work at her fathers space agency Biodome city,Flash Gordon space agency. Its a secret space fleet from NASA and she first flew her ship the Rainbow from there in 1962.She went to Planet Eternia that year through a portal near the moon. Prince Adam was born that next year.
