Probably a very basic question. How is a 152 steered while taxying? ie does the front wheel move to steer or is it the rudder moving the plane on the ground?

Actually both move when steering. When the pilot hits the rudder pedals the nose gear moves also. So you see the rudder move and the nose gear move.
