Just to let you know that a book by me, William Kaczynski, and co-author Charmian Brinson will be appearing in September 2011 on the postal history of the refugees from Nazism. It will be called "Fleeing from the Führer" and will be published by the History Press, Stroud. It will contain c. 150 photographs of envelopes and postacrds from internment camps of World War II and the displaced persons camps that followed the war. In addition, the photographs will be accompanied by an explanatory text, setting the postal history items in context. Look forward to hearing from you - and hope you will like the book.

Dear Sir. Thanks for taking an interest. I have enjoyed collecting envelops and post-cards from Refugeesfrom WW11 for about 20 years and each one has a story to tell. Also along the way I have met many interesting people from around the world. It has been a great journey

This is really cool. You collected these letters for twenty years? What country do you live in, that you would be able to collect these? Did you meet any of the people who actually wrote the postcards, etc.? I look forward to reading you're book. It ought to be wonderful.
Oh, and by the way, I'm not a sir. And I'm in eighth grade.

Dear Miss, Thanks for showing an intrest. Yes I meet quite a number of people who wrote post-cards etc. In fact my collection started with finding a letter sheet from a cousion who was interned in Canada as an Enemy Alian to my mother who was interned on the Isle of Man. Yes I live in London England.

You would think that they wouldn't be able to send the letters. Did they write them and keep them? And how did they get writing supplies? Sorry if i ask to much. Maybe i should just have patience and wait to read the book. Will the answers to my questions be in there?
