Please can someone tell me how to culture lactobacillus plantarum so that I can ingest the bacteria. I currently take a supplement called LP299v for gastrointestinal problems and it works very well. Its just expensive. Would I be able to culture from the capsule? What is the best medium to use and at what temperature and time?
