Paul of Tarsus (Spain?) formerly Saul considered himself to be a Pharisee; therefore a devout Jew; however nothing is found prior to his vision and conversion to be an apostle. Was he also a Nazirite as was John the Baptist? The relationship between he and the Jewish hierarchy appears to be considerably antagonistic? (He was a pharisee?) His story as written by the physician Luke in Acts of the Apostles shifts between first and thrid person. Appearances seem to suggest that those in first person were experiences when accompanying Paul and those in the third person found in the notes of Paul. In any event, it is troubling that the New Testament seems to be the beginning of the anti-Semitic philosophy which ultimately results in the Holocaust via the Nazi Third Reich of Germany.
