Sir, paraiyar means ,parai maens 'speak' in malayalam ,one of
the dravidan language.paraiyar means speaker,spokesman,prayarman ,they acts as speaker to the god for the people,close to god, pray the god for the people.
the person who conduct the prayar for the people called as paraiyar.they ate beef, people give to the god many articles
among beef is one thing.as incharge of temple they took remaining,what now brahmins are doing. but everything changed by aryans,they captured this place and pushed them away. no meaning of beating of drums,music is commen to all caste in india.drum is on of the music instrument.
