Palestine & Palestinians related critical discourse analysis
Hello everybody! I'm doing critical discourse analysis (CDA) for my graduation project; it is based on political discourse and especially on the situation of Palestine. I'm trying to pick out the Palestinian national and international identity from what Palestine and other officials are saying on their discourses. For that I chose the discourses of 3 important political figures: Ehud Olmert, Mahmoud Abbas and Khaled Meshaal.
I already have the theory but because I recently started being interested in CDA, I have no idea how to apply it in my discourses and that is why I need practical examples. I'm using the following concepts: discourse analysis, critical discourse analysis, image schema, conceptual metaphors, social actors, social actions, identity construction, argumentative strategies, figures of speech and so forth.
Now, I need help in finding any related material.
Thanks,
Florree

Floree,
I would suggest the Bible for your research
Here is one passage of scripture that views the current setting in the Middle East and the conflict between Israel and the nation's ancient enemies [Psalms 83]

You are welcome
This current stand off began long ago between Isaac [Israel] and Ishmael [the Arab component], between Jacob [Israel] and Esau [the Edomites/Palestinians], and continues to this very day
This core offset is leading to a conflict of major proportions that will inundate the entire world in the near future
You might want to reference the following suggested scriptures:
[Jeremiah 30; 31; Ezekiel 36; 38; 39; Daniel 12:1-7; Micah 5:5-6; Zechariah 14]
Islam and the Middle East is a topic of the prophets of Israel, past and future
The Middle East is the primary focus of all of the visions of the Bible prophets
I have a short subject at my website under "File Subjects" .... "Islam In Bible Prophecy" that may give you some information
