Owned home for only a few months. record rainfall in the area and our basement flooded. we are installing a sump but need advise on keeping future damage if we should flood again. Is it best to paint the concrete wall with a basement sealer prior to insulating? how can I keep my basement floor feeling drier and warmer without laying a heated floor? Cost is a bit of an issue.
