Redhead
Our border is almost 2, male, has not been fixed. After Christmas, we took out the carpet in one of the rooms, did some painting, and removed the furniture. Then, we went on holidays for about a month, came home and got new furniture. During this time, he has stopped eating regularly. And, dry dog food, almost completely. He was getting table food on a small basis since he came home, and various treats, frequently, which he doesn't eat most of the time, either. He is still energetic, but sucky, occasionally shakes; however, that is usually associated with loud voices or noises. He was very attracted to females possibly in heat, to the point of obsessive and had to be removed from the area while on holidays. The vet found nothing obviously wrong, but we didn't do blood tests, or x-rays. I've tried softening his kibbles, canned food, but human food is still the most appetizing...he hasn't turned down much. He's only lost .1 kg, but we're still worried about it. Suggestions?
