I was aguing with a Christian friend of mine about the ORIGINAL language the Torah was written in.
I've studied Torah my entire life in what I'm certain was its original language: Hebrew. Yet she insists that the Hebrew Torah is actually a translation of the original "Paleo-Hebrew", which is nonsense, because each word, each VERY LETTER of the HEBREW Torah is analyzed by Rabbis as the word of God.
Perhaps she's confused and its the other way around, the "Hebrew Torah" was perhaps translated into paleo-Hebrew.
Can I get any confirmation of this?
