Opel COmbo 1.3 ,year 2007


I remove steering wheel to align steering wheel slant to one side. I also removed battery negative terminal afraid the airbag at steering might operate.
After installing engine no cranking noise .Instrument cluster gear indicate "F' sign instead of normal 'N' sign.
Engine totally fail to operate.
