One of my dogs passed away suddenly 4 days ago and I'm truly heart broken. she was black lab/ shar-pei mix. She passed away 3 weeks before her 12th b-day. We also have an other dog who is 10. He is australian cattle/ shiz zu mix. They have always been together. We've had them both since thet were seven weeks. Elmo the male has been very quite and distance. Bailey are dog who die pass at our house . Elmo was in the room and just before she passed he left.We had a friend come over to be with Elmo when we took Bailey to the vets.Bailey was the boss and Elmo followed her everywhere. I'm trying to put a brave face on for Elmo, which is still very hard for me. How do I help Elmo and myself. The tears just keep coming. My husband said Elmo needsa new friend. I'm not sure if that's the answer. It's always been Bailey and Elmo. I'm not sure if he would even like an other dog in the house?
