Was accused of it at the end of the show by the new partner but I think at the very end did a 180 on that. First show, probably looking for audience reaction to form a basis for this Honesty Above All Policy. Telling the principal's mistress that the suspect killed himself was a bigger "lie" to bring out the truth in her about him. That somehow seems to have been played down by what you're interested in here.
