On a recent TV show I watched hosted by Professor Cox, I may have mis-heard him. I thought he said that when the Universe dies and there is no light, matter, atoms nothing left, just dark empty space void of everthing, that the temperature of space would remain or cool to absolute zero? If that is what, I thought he said, then how can the temperature in space maintain at absolute zero if there is nothing? How can temperature exist in nothingness? Doesn't there need to be a power source for anything to exist? Seems counter-intuitive?
