I lived in Farragut Tn. when I was a kid back is 1980 to 1981. We had a phone company called the Concord Telephone Exchange Inc. Their off hook tone was not the common beeping noise. Their off hook tone was a steady medium pitch sound. What kind of sound was that? What Kind of device Equopment made that sound?
