Okay, me and my buddies were going for a nature hick one afternoon and stummbled upon this shurb/bush that was like 7ft high and it has dark red buds with almost like seeds at the tips. We also found out that it has a kind of sour taste just like lemonade when the bud is chewed, this is what is turning us here to figure WHAT THE HELL IT COULD BE!!!. Anyone know what this plant its?

Thanks ;)

Ps: This is in urgent need for an answer!

It sounds like an elderbery bush .
The berrys are quite tart/sour but turn
nice and sweet after a hard frost .
They also make a very nice wine though
it takes 2years to mature. sorry I can't tell you more without pictures.
