Ok, for the CAR it lists operation sharp edge but no ships qualify. Does this mean that only the MEU members qualified for this ribbon or is this something that is still under discussion in the Navy as a combat operation and will be decided at a later date???

As a Marine that took part in this operation I do know that the Marine participants did recieve two medals for taking part in this operation and we also recieved a letter of appreciation from the Secretary of Defense.
