OK, the powerball jackpot in Florida was $250 million on Wednesday. Two people picked the 5 numbers correctly but no one picked the 5 numbers and the powerball number. So my question is why did the jackpot drop back to the minimum of $20 million for Saturday? No One won the $250 million that was the top prize for Wednesday's drawing. So by my calculations using the winning tickets the maximum total paid outif everyone claims their prize would be $5,581,908. So if the PowerBall payout for the $250,000,000 only costs the lottery $5,581,908, where did the $244,418,092 go??? And that is a small amount of dollars to pay out because if someone had won the top prize of $250 million there would have surely been other smaller prize amount winners making the payout much much higher. So where did the rest of the money go????? Why did the PowerBall drop back down to the starting level of $20 million??? I'm lost in the numbers...
