OK, I think I'm going crazy here. I'm sure that I can remember a Sam and Ralph cartoon that I can't find any reference to on the Internet.

In this particular cartoon, Sam arrives at work to find that Ralph has called in sick. Being the amiable sort of sheepdog he is, Sam agrees to cover for Ralph in addition to performing his own job.

For the remainder of the cartoon, Sam attempts to steal the sheep that he's also protecting and has to beat himself up after each attempt.

Is this ringing a bell? This does not seem to match the storyline to the seven Sam and Ralph cartoons I've seen listed in various sources.
