Greek mythology

Ergisca was the ancient name of the city of Catalca. It was named after Ergiscus, the son of Poseidon and a local Nymph named Aba. Does anyone know anything about Aba? Was she a Goddess who was demoted to Nymph status when the Greeks arrived? To anyone here from Greece-Turkey, espcially if you are from Catalca, can you please help! Any and all information is appreciated.
