Killing Mr. Griffin

Not that my opinion is final, but here is what I think. Mr. Griffin totally doesn't seem like the guy who would "fool around" without being married and get some girl pregnant. I mean, he made his wife wait a year before having kids just to make sure his job was going to work out. I just don't think Super Responsible would make that mistake. That being said, Brian did wait until late in life to find love and a family. Maybe there is a reason for it that is not related to his super strict/intense personality. Maybe he did goof up in the past and end up with a son which he had to abandon. Maybe he is so strict because he is trying to make ammends for his adultery... I don't know...? What do you think?

I think that the author put all those clues in the story to make it more interesting, make you think, and to keep you reading, I think it is a condicdence [sp?].

Yeah. That's one thing that makes me so mad about the book . He seems like a very responsible guy who would not do something like that. But he may have not been able to handle his mom, David, and David's mom. Maybe this is why he waited so late in life to have another kid. Then it would be an only child and it wouldn't be as much to handle. I hate that the author gave us so many good clues that he could be the father but never concluded it.
