Yes you do have a point. These well researched methods will not be able to encompass the world and save it from over population.

Not so. If each individual were sterilized after they father or mother two children, population would decrease.
Of course, this would require government intervention, since, most people feel that contributing to overpopulation is their right. It is NOT!!!
