At Baliwood Tilapia Farms in Dagatan Dolores Quezon Philippines we are testing a newly developed Tank farm system called a Hydro Vortex System consisting of a tank size 2mx7mx1.5m or 22.75 cu.m. of water or 5,800 Gal. in which we are raising 2,700 fingerlings. The system features a duel flow thru Bio filtration system ,with uv filters. We are also injecting aprox 97 cfm of oxygen per. min. into each tank. as most of you know to raise fish they need 3 items clean water ,oxygen, and food ,this system supplies all and at very affordable cost. I have been working on this system for 8 years in the US. and Philippines with several colleges in both countries. The reason to im doing this is to be able to build these for the poor hard working Philippine Farmers to help increase their incomes and to be more productive. At our test farm we are using our cast to do organic farming with vegetables and fruits and it is working very well, we are seeing an increase in production of our Banana and coconut crops by 15% already. This small tank could be on farms as well a back yard system and the building cost is very affordable less than $3,000. complete and at current market prices returns $324,000. peso's or $6,700. gross and a crop cost of electric, water, and feeds of $400. . We are now seeing a harvest time of 3 to 4 months depending on the size 3 months 4 fishes to the kilo and 4 months 3 or 2 to 1 kilo, these are mixed tanks with male and females and of course the males out grow the females ,so our next crops will be male only to help increase profits. We are working on a new nursery to raise fingerlings and breeding. well we would love to hear from you . Thanks Chuck

David hello and thank you for your interest in the newly developed Hydrovortex Tilapia system you can see our tanks at www.baliwoodtilapiafarm.com and id would be very happy to answer your questions. We at Baliwood Farm will be building tanks all over the PI.Our system features Uniwall Construction from concrete and steel, which means they float in case of earthquakes, just like the large buildings in Makati and other large citys. We also include a complete working system with fingerlings,a working air injection system, along witha two stage bio filter and pump. If your interested we have a package price and its less than you can build it for. Two develop this system it took me 8 years working with many professionals, and professors from University"s in the Pi. and the U.S. its is very hard to build correctly . We are seeing a ROI in less than one year and showing a good profit to boot. The system is very user friendly, but does need some training which we supply it also. Well enough blabbering I will go again thank you Chuck Wood President: Baliwood Farms Dolroes Quezon PI.

Please I am interested in this system. I want to know if it can be used for catfish farming. I already have a concrete tank in Nigeria and only need to know how I can incorporate the filter, oxigen injector etc. I am about to stock and start the farm in about a month from now.

My e-mail address is kelanihyramotors@yahoo.com

Thanks.

Hello Chuck/Guys!

I love this topic. Actually, I've been searching via internet and enjoyed fish farming video specially on tanks. I am planning to test this in my 10meters x 50meters strip of land - am confident it'll work.
It's just i lack experience. If ever this would be my first time. Can anyone advise on what is cheaper tank. Will it be a concrete or plastic/fiberglass? Also I am not very familiar with the recirculating system, i.e.
May I ask your recommended fabricated tank supplier's contact, and where can I buy fingerings for starting up?

I would be very grateful if you could email me back at mcgaeiouz_777@yahoo.com

Thanx and more power to FISH FARMING.
