Namaskar sir.Sir i need a small info that i am from Andhrapradesh.I belong to Lingayat (Veerashiva)community.I got match from the Devangana (JANIWAAR) community staying in Andhrapradesh only.We use to wear Lingam and they use to wear yagnopaveeth. This is the main reason by which this match is cancelled.Just give me an info sir can we agree this match or not considering the customs and traditions of both the subcastes that is Telugu Lingayat and Telugu Devangana.Bride belongs to Telugu Lingayat and Bride groom belongs to Telugu Devangana.Parents are not agreed to this proposal thats why i am asking you sir.is the two sub castes related or not.can we convince my parents.for their satisfaction i am approaching you sir. Thanks in Advance.I hope i will get a favorable info. Thanks once again. So my final Question is can Telugu devanga Jenniwar (bridegroom) can marry the telugu lingayat(bride).

Devangas are present in four states mainly karnataka andhrapradesh, tamilnadu and maharastra.Mejority of devangas are in AP and karnataka.Devangas came to fore front during krishnadevarayas rule. After the fall of krishna devaraya lingayats wanted spread their religion they roped in many castes including devangas.Even in karnataka there are devangas who wear lingam.since the community of devangas have maintained their identity with yagnopaveeth generally they are not marrying with lingayat devanga.Lingayat devangas are accepted as lingayat in lingayat community. However if both family are educated , bride and groom have mutual acceptance
marriage should not be a problem
