My van de Waal ancestors come from this area (Ingen, Lienden, Maurik etc) and Herman van de Waal married Margereta Tukker 11.11.1774 at Ingen. I can't find a birth for Herman and someone suggested he was illegitimate, so I should look under another name. From his age at death he was born about 1743. Do the local archives have copies of paternity suits? Thanks for any help, Marie
