My uncle Frank Todd was the pilot on this flight. Uncle Frank died when I was about 4 or 5 years old. My parents vacationed with The Franks one summer in Miami Beach, where uncle Frank lived. My grandmother (uncle Frank's sister) Louise was depressed about his passing all her life. My grandparents kept a photo of uncle Frank on a writing desk in their den. The photo showed him sitting in the pilot's seat behind the controls with a big smile on his face.
