My name is Larry Williams, I use to be the drummer for The Boss Players out of Ft.Wayne, Ind. from 68-75 and we also backed up Jimmy Lynch the Funky Tramp. Ive been up here in Canada since 1983. Over the years a couple of companies have been sued for using artists song for commercials without approval. "Who's That Lady" has been used in a certain commercial and is still going strong since April of this year. Just curious, do artists agree to let thier songs be used by one company for how many and as long as they choose or do they pay by single use?
