My husband's application for PR has been "in process" for 6 months at the seoul office. i'm a canadian citizen and i have sponsored him.

the official website states that the average waiting period in our situation is 6 months, but we still haven't heard anything. i've called the office, but they do not accept any inquiries by phone. i've also sent a message through their official email form, but still no response.

our situation is of some urgency, as i'm 4.5 months pregnant and we are desperate to return to canada as soon as possible.

what i'm wondering is:
1. how much longer will we have to wait?
2. how likely is it that he will be required to do an interview? i've heard that only some applicants are called in for interviews. and, if he does have to do an interview, do i have to be there with him?
3. if he goes to canada with me now, before the PR card is issued, will it delay the process at all?
