My husband feels that regular church attendance is not necessary at age 65. He is a baptized member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. We were married in the church and raised our children in the church. Now that our children are grown and away from home, he does not attend with me. Suggestions please!

I suggest you keep going and enjoy the time of Worship with God and the fellowship and have a good time at it. Lead by example. Make sure he knows the fun you had and let him know about your time at worship with- out being self rightous you went and he did not. God's gives us a choice and we are responsible for our own. He might come around but either way he will be the one standing before God answering for himself. Not all people I know who worship got o a church. It does not mean they don't worship God. Fellwoship is good for us and our souls I knwo that to be true but some people must learn themselves. You keep your soul close to God. Grace be with you always.
