Trust law

My grandmother set up a trust fund for me in 2004 and has been reluctant to give me any information about this trust for the past 6 years. My step father had to contact the lawyer who helped her set up the trust just so we could get a copy of the trust document. This document clearly states that I am suppose to receive an annual account of the trust, I have not even received one. She has helped me pay for tuition for college but the checks she has given me for that have also been from her personal account. She keeps saying she has to call "the guy" in charge of the trust so he can write her a check so she can place the money in her personal account and then she'll write out a check to the school. Wouldn't the trust write out a check to the school directly? Is there anyway I can find out where the trust is and if there is actually money in it? Can I remove her as the trustee? I have legal right to know all the information surrounding this trust don't I?
