My father was a drummer with the Tony Martin Orchestra during World War II in the Army Air Corps band. I have heard many stories and have some old pictures that I believe are pictures of the band. Does anyone know if Tony is still alive and if he has any of those pictures. My Father was Jay Laughlin and was quite a man in his lifetime. Not only was he a drummer but an animator, motion picture producer and director and a great Dad and Grandfather. During his last years he did Native American water colors and taught his grandsons their Native American heritage.
I hope there are some pictures out there that are of Dad with the orchestra. Please let me know if you have any.
