My father fought during the china burma india theater,he has a patch simular to the CBI patch only there is a red streak that seperates the sun and star.He is authorized the Bronze star.He used to tell me stories about some road, a river, a forced march and a battle for an airport. He was shot in the left knee during that conflict.
