My Japanese Chin is nearly 12. She has always "howled" when we come home again if we have been out. This only usually lasts a few minutes but the past 2 days she has howled almost constantly. When she goes to her bed at night she scrapes at the bed until she is happy with it then lies down but she has taking to doing this to the carpets also in the past couple of days. She is fairly healthy apart from being a very fussy eater. Has anyone any idea of what could be wrong with her, it was funny to start with but lack of sleep as surpassed that.
