My 17 year old grandson is bi-polar and in a very severe mani phase. refuses to take his meds and when my son took him to the emergency room at the hospital they said they could not admit him because he (grandson) refused to sign the consent form so they gave him meds (which he refused to take) and sent him home. he needs to be in a treatment ctr but the law says he has to be suicidal!!!!!! HELP!!! what can we do?
