Los Angeles College of Music (LACM), formerly known as LAMA, offers exciting summer music programs (“LACM Summer Xperience”) for passionate music lovers who are performers, songwriters, producers, and drummers!

An unbelievable way to spend a week of your summer that you’ll never forget. It’s an opportunity to network, bond, and create lasting friendships with peers that share your love for music. The Music Performance program is instrument-specific and offers technique for guitar, bass, drums or vocalists. Many classes take place in the new state-of-the-art professional recording studio and these programs provides panels, seminars, and open counseling. In-class private lessons, sessions with artists, managers and producers, open counseling and band performances with other students are just a few of the activities that go on. After class you’ll never be bored as there are optional rehearsals, open jams and special LACM events. You won’t go home empty handed either! At the end of the week you will record, and be filmed performing cover songs and originals in LACM’s 200-seat Performance Hall.

These awesome one week programs really take your passion to the next level! You have a choice of Music Production and Music Performance in week 1, and Songwriting and Drummers’ Reality Camp in week 2.
