I have 3 english mastiff dogs, i am currently trying to find out more information on the legions that may have used a type of vexillum under ceasars era (55 b.c.-54 b.c.)invasion of britanna (england). i have done some research and found out that most of the legions had mastiff type of dogs in them. why i am researching this is because i am wanting a tattoo with a proper vexillum behind the dogs in the for front and really want a historicaly correct tattoo. if ya have any info or wish to speak to me call me u.s.a. @ 775-813-8678, corey lefkowitz, thank you
