Mark Ridley-Thomas has deceived the Carson community after closing the Victoria Park Pool and the respective aquatics programs. He lied to the community telling them that the Los Angeles County would fill in the slack left behind by the disolvement of the Aquatics Foundation of Metropolitan Los Angeles (AFMLA). He didn't even have the courage to face the constituents from the Victoria Park community and tell them in their face that he was not willing to do anything to keep the aquatics programs alive. This action is sending to the streets the kids from that community and elderly that have a medical need to use the pool on a daily basis. Yet he was preferred to spend half-a-million dollars decorating his office. He is not honest and he is racist against latinos.
