Nothing would happen. I mean, they would all just fail Mr. Griffin's class. It WAS Mark's idea and, although the others students might have had the passing thought, "I wish he was dead" or, "I wish someone'd kill him", it never would have gone as far as it did.

Yea I agree, I think that Mark was the definite brains of the operation. So removing him from the picture would take all the fun out of the book. And other than Susan, they would all fail.
