Leighton Buzzard is about buzzards. Why (since I live in Upper Wraxall) is the origin of the word 'Wraxall' in the South West (Somerset, Wiltshire etc) supposed to be of Anglo-Saxon origin for buzzard ? Are there two words in Anglo-Saxon for a buzzard ? I'm not sure about the etymology for buzzards in Anglo-Saxon.
