Last night we caught a american goldfinch in our backyard. it had been hoping around the yard for a few days. we r unsure it it's possibly a baby or an injured adult. it does not seem to have trouble moving it's wings but will no fly. and although it's small compared to some that come to our feeder it is a bright yellow. could it be a baby? what does babies look like?
