The film depicts most authority figures (religious, law enforcement, media) as the bad guys. Kevin is associated with these through the Rourke family. Frank Miller describes both Miho (good) and Kevin (bad)as demons. Miho is more an aveging angel and Kevin is a fallen one (with the voice of an angel). Everything in the film is black and white like good vs evil. What if it is negative too. Then Kevin would good and doesn't eat peoples souls but returns them and makes people whole again (back to life?) and uses his powers against evil i.e. a protector. This would cast Miho as a huge character who doesn't avenge people but kills them without remorse or feeling. Anybody got any ideas on this?
