My daughter is doing research on John Ross Tribual Chief for the Cherokee. We can't find much info on him. He is my great great great grandfather. My daughter is interested not only in her heritage but doing a research (term) paper on him for school. Doyou have any info on the gentleman, and why do you think that not much information was available on the Cherokee Indians or their history?
