JESUS AND EINSTEIN ON THE EXPANSION OF THE UNIVERSE

Dear Ben,

Q. - According to Torah in Genesis 2:3, after the six days of Creation, God blessed the Seventh Day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work He had done in Creation. But in John 5:17 Jesus declared that God has been at work until now; obviously, that He has never stopped with his work of Creation. How can this apparent contradiction be harmonized?

A. - There is no contradiction. The six days of creation was the Jewish way to establish the commandment to keep the Sabbath holy in terms of resting, but by man and not by God, Who is not like a man to need rest. (Num. 23:19)
The mention of God in the text was only to render the day holy.

Two thousand years ago a Jew - Jesus - made it clear that God has never stopped working. Then, two thousand years later, another Jew - Einstein - being asked if he believed in God, said that all his life was trying to catch God at His work of Creation. Probably, the first Jew had in mind the newly discovered expansion of the universe, while, on the other hand, obviously, the second Jew had Creation in mind when he connected his answer to the question if he believed in God, with his then research on the theory of the expansion of the universe.

Another probable evidence is found in the unsuccessful struggle of modern Cosmologists to understand how the expansion of the universe takes place. Some of them suggest that a way to understand that phenomenon is through quantum mechanics with the help of dark energy, which could even contribute to the theory of multiverses. The fundamental problem though, is that, none knows what dark energy is and how it opperates in the universe.

Einstein, the second Jew in the context of this thread, gave another booster as he implied "design" by saying that
God does not play dice. Could it be that expansion of the universe is the result of a design? While research is keeping researchers busy on both sides, let us keep our minds open to the eventual probability that Einstein's
master theory could be just around the corner waiting only to surprise us all. In fact, when Einstein died, he was working on this master theory that would explain all theories.

Jews are Gods chosen people. Not because of Jewish propaganda, but because they have been given more incite.Well listen now.Using string therory as well as NDE,and Alien visitation reports,i ve concluded that we are in fact each other now,as well as in the past and in the future. You are me and i am you, just at different perspectives.Time is a referance to something, nothing more.String therory points to multiple selves existing at one moment. We are not brothers and sisters,we are in fact each other right now.

When you die,you lose physical weight(a couple of ounces),then move thru light till you meet beings. The soul(or whatever it is) is physicl and moves at the speed of light.Just as we appear to be on a stationary planet,we are in fact moving thousands of miles an hour.As speed travels at light speed we in fact can exist in this form at 0 time loss, therefor life after death is possible in this unknown physical form.

Aliens are simply us in an advanced state. But i think they slip thru dimensional spaces for whatever reasons.I believe they think they are visiting their ansestors,a primative glimpse of themselves,i don t think they realize that we are infact them.

Jews are God's chosen People not because God has chosen them
but because they have chosen God. Since they have seriously lived up to their choosing, they have become known as God's chosen People. Regarding the esoteric interpolation to the concept you mention above, I find it no more relevant than mere verbal juggling that would take us nowhere.

Now, we are at it. Regarding weight as a copse, I rather thought we weigh a few ounces more. Since death has nothing to do with Science but with the Scriptures, the idea that the dead move thru light till they meet beings goes blatantly against theaching in the Tanach.

Besides, the soul is not physical, but rather the composition of the breath of life with the body, which makes of man a living soul. In fact, according to Genesis 2:7, when man was formed from the dust of the earth, metaphorically, the Lord breathed the breath of life into man and he became a living soul. To become is to be and not to have. Therefore, we do not have souls but rather, we are souls. At death, the body goes back to the dust and the breath of life goes back to God Who gave it.The composition is undone and the soul is non-existent. (Eccl. 12:7)

Now, for the probability of life after death, how about life before birth? Since there is no conscience of such a possibility, where does the conscience of life after death come from? Just not logiccal. In fact, it contradicts the Scriptures. According to Job 10:21 and 2 Sam. 12:23, once dead, no one will ever return.

IMHO, aliens are extraterrestrial beings visiting our planet
if they ever do. We are not extraterrestrial beings. We are
autochthonous; that is, sprung from the land itself. Here we are born and here we are buried. Your concept about our identity is too esoteric.

Errors: You do not lose physical weight. That is a myth.

Please refer to your sources for any of this.

Now you are seriously mixing science with religion.

The body weighs no more or less as a result of death.

Whoever said that we lose physical weight at death? The opposite seems rather to be true. A corpse seems to be heavier.
