I've logged into this area trying to hook up with some advise on were to go to try to read about activity and casualties for G Co., 9th VA Cavalry Regiment at Markham's Station on the Manassas Gap Railroad on Nov 4/5, 1862. Mil. records only say my relative Pvt Thomas B. Malone died in a skirmish near this place on this date. I am trying to locate his company Commanders daily notes or reports for that date. Was hoping to find that someone made note of his place of burial after he died, or did the good folks of Markham's Station collect or dig up the confederate sons when they were able to and give them some kind of burial for their sacrifice. All help appreciated.
