I've been searching for this answer for a while....

Could our words Karma (IE "kwer"-to do) and Charismatic (IE "gher"-favor) be related? It's easy to see how these IE roots can sound similar and "to favor" means to do or act towards one thing over another.....

I know a spiritual aspect has since been added to both words which, I guess, further makes me want to associate the two words. I was certain they were of the same origin until I located the different roots.

This is probably a shot in the dark, but I'm very curious.
