Anyone recall the heavy snowfall at that time where the camp remained open while all around closed and we received letter of commendation from the king?

Hi there, I am trying to trace any airmen who were in 16 maintenance unit in 1946-47. My grandfather was based there. Are you in touch with anyone from there. Were you there?
